Dec
10th is the UN Human Rights Day. Here's a look at 3 watershed documents
in human rights history that are on the UNESCO "Memory of the World"
Register. They include files from the Rivonia Trial that sent Nelson
Mandela (our Goodwill Ambassador) to prison for protesting apartheid;
photos from the Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum archives in Cambodia; and the
original petition from the 1st ever Women's Suffrage movement in New
Zealand.
